Notre Dame College built a 24-9 halftime lead and never looked back at West Virginia Wesleyan in a 41-9 victory on Oct. 15.
With the win, the Falcons kept pace in the Mountain East Conference with a 5-1 mark (5-2 overall). Concord is also 5-1 in the conference but NDC and Concord don’t play this season.
The Falcons got the rare trifecta — touchdowns on offense, defense and special teams.
Quarterack Chris Brimm was 16 of 23 passing for 214 yards and two touchdown passes. Nine different players ran the ball, including leader Tyris Dickerson’s 49 yards on 10 attempts. He also scored a TD.
There was also balance in the passing game with seven different players catching a pass from Brimm. Michael Solomon and CJ Kiss each caught TDs.
Defensively, Jacalyn Morrison returned an interception 15 yards for a TD. Linebacker Nate Moore was a tackling machine with 17 stops. The Falcons also had a punt return for a TD.
